One check-in a month, about 20 minutes

Know your four numbers. Automate the rest. Spend the rest guilt-free.

Falcon starts with what your money is for and turns it into a four-part plan. It helps you set up the transfers that keep the plan running, then gets out of your way. Whatever's left is yours to enjoy, with no second-guessing.

No bank connection needed. Import a file from your bank, or add a few things by hand.

An example planPlan income $5,300 a month
  • Fixed costs$2,99056%
  • Investments$56011%
  • Savings goals$4428%
  • Guilt-free$1,30825%

You can spend $1,308 a month guilt-free. That's about $302 a week.

Take-home pay plus pre-tax retirement, split four ways. Guilt-free is what's left once the other three are covered.

How it works

Four steps. The first takes about ten minutes.

Estimates are fine. You can refine later, and every number stays yours to change.
  1. Step 1: Start with what it's for

A few lines about the life you want, and the things you love spending on. The numbers come second.
  2. Step 2: Get your four numbers

Fixed costs, investments and savings goals, from rough estimates. Guilt-free is what's left: no line-by-line budget for fun.
  3. Step 3: Automate the flow

Falcon lays out payday, transfers and bills. You set them up at your bank once, and Falcon checks each month that every step happened. It never moves money itself.
  4. Step 4: Check in once a month

About 20 minutes: celebrate the wins, see how the month compared with the plan, adjust next month. Then back to your life.
What Falcon won't do

Plenty of money apps run on guilt. Falcon doesn't.

Spending on what you love is the plan working. These are promises, not settings.
  • No latte shaming

Small purchases never get flagged or added up into a lecture. Buy the coffee.

  • No streaks or daily nags

No badges, no no-spend challenges, no daily "safe to spend" pings. One check-in a month is the whole routine.

  • No red "over budget" alarms

Red is for things that are broken, like a bank sync. If fun money runs over, you get one calm note with options.

  • No inbox zero

Nothing has to be sorted before your numbers show up. Anything unclear waits in a quiet list, for whenever you like.

  • No ads or credit offers

No card offers, no loan pitches, no stock tips. Your data is never sold.

  • No comparisons

Your plan answers to your life, never to what "people like you" spend.

Privacy

Your money data stays yours.

Falcon only needs enough to show you your own plan. Here's the short version.
  • Connecting a bank is optional

Import a CSV or OFX file from your bank, or add things by hand. Where a site offers bank connections, they go through Plaid, read-only.

  • Never sold, never used for ads

Your data is for your plan. Falcon doesn't sell it, rent it, or show you offers based on it.

  • Encrypted and kept apart

Encrypted in transit and at rest, with bank access keys sealed separately. Each household's data is walled off from everyone else's.

  • Leave whenever you like

Download everything as JSON or CSV at any time. Delete your account and your data is deleted right away.

Build your plan in about ten minutes.

Four numbers. One plan. Then spend the rest without a second thought. Estimates are fine. You can refine later.
